INTRODUCTION:
Leo Academy of Hospitality and Tourism Management (LAHTM) is set on a well
equipped, modern and peaceful Campus of Leonia - The Holistic Destination - a
choice destination for Business and Leisure Tourism (Promoted by the Leo
Meridian Infrastructure Projects & Hotels Limited) which is located in an easy
60 minutes drive from Hyderabad Airport. The location of Leonia Campus offers
serenity with picturesque surroundings comprising extensive greeneries and
farmlands.
The 'Leonia Holistic Destination' campus features most technologically advanced
Luxury Hotel with 82 rooms + 6 World-class suites, swimming Pool, Restaurants,
large and medium sized Convention/Conference Centres, Spa, Gym, Indoor Sports
and Entertainment complex, Kids Court etc. The Leonia Group planned for an
upcoming project of a business hotel consisting of 1000 rooms in the same campus
by the end of December, 2009. The facilities and infrastructure would be used to
provide experiential and on-the-job exposure to the students of LAHTM pursuing
courses in Hospitality and Tourism Management.

World largely driven by service-sector activities significantly contributing to
exceptional growth potential. Hospitality and Tourism industry in the Country
has been showing continued growth and prosperity due to ever increasing inflow
of business and leisure travelers. The continued growth of tourism sector, which
involves a wide variety of activities, the two most important being hospitality
and travel trade, provides a large spectrum of employment opportunities.
Hospitality Management personnel are in great demand not only in Hotels and
Resorts but also in Corporate Sector including MNCs, Airlines, Hospitals and
Health clinics, Flight kitchens, Cruise Ships, Call Centres, Fast Food chains,
Event Management Companies etc.

SELECTION PROCESS:
Selection would be on the basis of personal interview and percentage of pass in
the qualifying examination.
HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION:
Hostel accommodation on sharing basis will be arranged separately for boys and
girls at a location very close to the Academy. As to hostel accommodation is
limited, allocation of seats is on a first-cum-first served basis. Essential
furniture such as bed, mattress, study table, chair and cupboard is provided for
each individual.
